Malcolm worked with us recently on a
Testimonial video for a client's website. We were looking for actors who could take on board a personal legend, make the story their own and convey the message in a natural manner without
'over-acting'. The essence of the project was that the testimonial had to be believable.
By nature Malcolm came across as a confident character but the piece required him to be gentle, melancholic, thoughtful. Malcolm took this direction and nailed it in the first take!
We did a couple more takes just to give us a chance to play around with the script and each time Malcolm was on point.
It was a pleasure to work with Malcolm - a great chap and consummate professional.
The finished piece is very effective and the client is very happy with the results.
Thank You Malcolm *Tips Hat*
Malcolm was a genuine pleasure to work with and I was absolutely thrilled with his performance. He had an intuitive understanding of the character and excelled at improvisation work when called for, bringing the role to life in a very real and emotional way. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to other directors and producers, and I hope to work with him again in the not too distant future.Christopher Bevan, Director Signals

'Malcolm was an absolute pleasure to have on set, his professional attitude as well
as his ability and skill meant Malcolm delivered an excellent performance on the day
despite us putting him through hell with an improvised fight sequence.
Malcolm was very adaptable to our circumstances after we had to cancel a half day for
him and was happy to come back for an evening shoot to complete his scenes. I would
recommend Malcolm to anyone considering him for a role and will always consider him in
the future should an appropriate role come up.'
Adam Nelson, Writer & Director Little Pieces.
"Having cast Malcolm in a recent film we were producing for Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, I was constantly impressed by his professionalism and can do attitude. He remained patient and calm during the long periods of set up required on a drama shoot and was never less than encouraging and utterly professional, even advising on procedural points when we were filming another actor who was being a Police Officer. I never had to worry about Malcolm giving it his all when it came to taking a shot, even when the scene required a lot of emotion and intensity and he was always ready and willing to take direction well. I would definitely employ Malcolm again. His friendly manner and relaxing influence on the other cast members was a welcolme addition to our shoot and all the better for it. Casting malcolm was definitely the right choice".

I’ve gotta say you were a real tour de force on the shoot and raised the game of all the players on set. Really thankful for that because having that edge will be the make or break of a short piece like this.
